USCID offers special programs for individuals enrolled full-time at the graduate or undergraduate level in a U.S. college or university program related to irrigation, drainage or flood control. Students involved in engineering, environmental sciences, social sciences, economics, water law, soil science and related disciplines are invited to join and participate in USCID activities.
Free Membership
Student Member annual dues of $20 are waived for the first year of membership. Additional information about USCID Membership is available. To join, simply complete the online application, selecting "Student Member -- First year free" from the Membership Category list.
Free Conference Registration
One USCID Student Member will be selected by the Board of Directors to receive a free registration for each USCID meeting. Application information will be sent to Student Members prior to each meeting.
Scholarship
The endowed USCID/Summers Engineering Scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled in a college or university program related to irrigation, drainage or flood control. Only USCID Student Members are eligible to apply for the Scholarship. Applications for the 2010 Scholarship will be accepted until August 13.
